regular meeting for the Chamber of Commerce is the first Thursday
of every month at 12 noon at Plan B, where you can order off their
delicious menu.
An abbreviated list of the Chamber's activities and reasons to
belong include:
- Purchase, care and payment for display of Flags during the
holidays.
- Purchase, care and arranging the Christmas Banner
installation and removal.
- Purchase, care and watering of the Plants downtown.
- Purchase and installation of Welcome to Shelby signs.
- National Asparagus Parade Float (newly remodeled)
- Annual Apple Pie Contest and Auction
- Christmas Concert (along with the New Era Chamber).
- Purchase of decorative lighting downtown.
- Annual Brochures
- Advertising in several tourist magazines.
- Member of the West Michigan Tourist Association
- Discounted rates on Blue Cross/ Blue Shield
Our dues are $150 per year, payable on July 1st. New
members may prorate their dues for any partial year ($37.50 per
quarter). Get a Membership application

form with your check to the address on the form. You will
receive your membership plaque and other chamber information in 7
